SCC Anderson County Meet and Greet

Our May meeting will be on May 1, 2017 at Pizza Buffet on Clemson Boulevard at 7pm. We will eat and share information about who South Carolina Carry is and tell you what you can do to become involved.

Please remember the runoff election for Senate Seat 3 is this Tuesday, April 25, 2017!

We will discuss the election and the current situation re: the Constitutional Carry bill H3930 in the SC senate. With regard to this bill, I assume most of you have been following the E-Blasts from SC Carry and the discussions on Facebook.

The bill is likely to come up again this week. Please call your Senator Monday and tell them SC citizens deserve to have bills voted on and not bottled up in committee. What's wrong with a vote? Also call and email Sen. Luke Rankin  and Sen. Sandy Senn. These are the two Republicans on the committee that seem ready to block the bill from getting a vote. Remember, our goal is to persuade, not threaten or bully. That is what our opponents do. Their contact information  (as well as all Senators) is available here:

If it gets a vote on the floor, it most probably will pass hopefully with some changes proposed by SC Carry and the Governor has already said he will sign it. This bill also permits open carry and recognizes national reciprocity.

So, to sum up, please call on Monday, vote on Tuesday, and come with a friend to our meeting on May1. If we won't do these things, who will? Thank you and we at SC Carry appreciate your support.
