I tried to make myself anti-gun

I tried to make myself anti-gun. I spent many many hours going through articles, data, statistics, reports and articles. I spoke with “experts” on both sides. My research was extensive on both sides, anti and pro firearms. I quickly discovered one side wanted to be able to use firearms to hunt, for sport and defend themselves from bad people. The other side insists inanimate objects are killing people.

When one is honest, you have to admit the Maximum Overdrive movie is not real and bad people are the problem.
The side scared of the transformer movies will quickly post statics to validate their statements. I have found most to be, irrelevant, twisted truth or just lies. One irrelevant statement is, gun accidents are most likely to occur in homes with guns. I can do the same with highways “highway deaths are more likely to involve people on the highways” The statement is true but is not justification to not have highways or firearms. A major truth twisting is that America has the highest gun-related death rate in the developed world. Notice they do not say highest death rate in the world. They add specifics to “prove” their cause. Another truth twist is that firearms cause suicide in America to be high. Our firearm suicide deaths per 100,000 population is 6.7. https://en.wikipedia.org/…/List_of_countries_by_firearm-rel… our total suicide deaths per 100,000 population: 13.4. http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/suicide.htm while Japan’s suicide by firearm is 100,000 population: 0.04. Japans total suicide death is 18.5. https://en.wikipedia.org/…/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate as you can see people are the cause not a tool. The US is 50th on the list. If their statement that firearms make suicide to easy was true then America would be number one.
I was flabbergasted when I research their “40 percent of guns are purchased without a background check” lie. http://bangordailynews.com/…/background-checks-cant-work-i…/ that figure is based on an analysis of a nearly two-decade-old survey of less than 300 people that essentially asked participants whether they thought the guns they had acquired — and not necessarily purchased — came from a federally licensed dealer. http://www.factcheck.org/…/guns-acquired-without-backgroun…/ 40% of 300 is 133. I can find that many people that have been abducted by aliens, does that make it true? The most recent lie is that 90% of Americans want stricter gun control laws. http://www.politifact.com/…/dnc-sen-chris-murphy-says-90-a…/ Those “National Polls” are from less than 2000 people each and they ask vague questions but do not explain how the current system works. http://crimeresearch.org/…/remember-those-claims-that-80-t…/ If 90% of Americans wanted stricter gun control laws, Hillary would have won and democrats would have taken the house and the senate.
The evidence is clear to me, gun grabber elite have very strong sociopathic lying and tyrannical tendencies. Those that are among us suffer from Hoplophia and/or Kaaism brought on by suggestions from the gun grabber elites. Bottom line, Gun control is nothing more than a furphy.
