Rep. Steven Long of our area is holding a gun give-away for teachers, in his effort to support arming teachers in classrooms.

I understand that previous efforts requiring teachers to be armed have failed in the legislature.

Can you tell me your response to Rep. Long’s effort, as well as your position following the Florida school shootings and remarks from the president that trained teachers who want concealed guns should be able to have them at school.

I am working on this story today.

    Thank you,

    Bob Montgomery

Does “military” mean ‘active, veteran’, or both?

Just wanted to ask if you would be interested in getting external help with graphic design? We do all design work like banners, advertisements, photo edits, logos, flyers, etc. for a fixed monthly fee.

We don’t charge for each task. What kind of work do you need on a regular basis? Let me know and I’ll share my portfolio with you.

How do you feel about letting people carry without taking classes on laws concerning weapons and the use of that weapon?

I found your group today. After reading one article on your blog, I wrote a comment abouut today’s S.C. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee Hearing. After I wrote it, I was prompted to create an email account and did so. But my comment had vanished. I suggest adding a step on your blog to create the account first, and then write a comment.

My name is Larry Gillespie and I am a site administrator at Carolina Firearms Forum. I used to be an administrator at Carolina Shooters Club, until their recent sale to Second Media, in which 9 staff members left that site to start our own. We were blindsided by the sale and therefore we joined together to create a website that would be locally owned and operated for the members of our community and both Carolinas that support the Second Amendment and all things gun related. I ask, whenever you get a free moment, to come over and take a look at our forum. We will be upgrading to a new server sometime in the next couple of weeks to make it easier for our members to navigate and create new topics of interest.

    Thank you for your time.

    To whom it may concern,

I am currently drafting a petition to present to the South Carolina Senate Gun Issues Special Committee (or even go to Columbia to deliver in person). Please send me some good information that counters Sen. Kimpson’s design to infringe on SC citizens right to keep and bear arms.

Just joined with a 25.00 donation for 2 year first responder/LEO membership. I am a Corporal with SC Department of Corrections. Didn’t see anywhere to verify “how” I was joining, so wasn’t sure if you figured it out based on donation or what. Really want that decal…lol.
